Our new album (not titled yet) is a new era in our musical journey. It covers every thing from Punk to Reggae in pure X(Melon) style. Once again we had the great opportunity to work with Klas. This album became a heavy burden just before we were entering the studio, but we are very proud of the result and the songs grew a lot stronger in every way during the recordings. 

Pure is our first official release and above all it's also released world wide, mostly through sources on the Internet. Pure is a 6 track EP that breaks new ground for us. It's more powerful than other things we have done. Even though Pure only consists of 6 songs you can get a sense of where we started and where we are off to next. We have a special guest playing on the record. We are happy to work with him and very grateful that he helped us out through this record. The man behind the bass is no other than Klas Ideberg from Darkane & Defaced. A very talented guitarist, but on our record he is playing fuzz bass guitar. That’s punk attitude for a headbanger! ;)

You Better Run were released on our own label Cabriolet Records, but we didn’t receive as much attention as we thought we would (eller) should. So we reached out for a helping hand and got in touch with the australian Indie label Smashed Records and made a deal for Pure. You Better Run is a four track CD-EP in the spirit of Alternative Pop/Rock and is actually the first official X(Melon) release ever. But it never went out for release to record-shops. This is a rarity and we still got a few left.
