Right now we are planing our first full lenght album!
What do you think of vinyl records?
We love them!
So we spend alot of our time scouting for a suitable Vinyl manufacturer and asking for prices and so on. We've checked all over the world but with every aspect counted for. We think the pressing will be made here in Sweden.
It's the duty taxes, shipping costs, VAT and so on that makes it cheaper to press in the old country.
What more to say?

Little late, but better late than never right..
Michele moved back to Italy a few weeks ago. He missed friends and family very much. And the fact that he didn't find a job and so on made his time in Sweden a bit painful for him. We will miss Michele alot! When he joined X(Melon) he brought in new ways to work with the music. So once again we are very sad to lose a guy with so many new ideas.

OK. Once again sorry for not keeping you updated with things and so on... It's been a tough time lately. We're sad to have lost Gianni as our drummer. No, hard feelings between us. We wish him well and give all our respect to him with future projects. The search for a new drummer is very active! So do you know anyone who's in our neighbourhood let us know!
Michele has adapted very well and are very much in the game! He shines new light on lots of forgotten things, and in return we teach our beautiful but difficult language to our new friend and playmate.
We have one more for you.
For the moment we are focusing on our MySpace page. It's much easier to keep in touch with friends, meet new bands and fans. If you have a MySpace account please add us! We will not leave this page to die. We hope you understand. From time to time it's easier to concentrate on a few things instead of thousands at the same time.

Finally we have found a new bass-player! We give a warm welcome to our new Italian "playmate" Michele.... ;)
It felt awesome right from the start so there was no question about it, we had to keep him. Michele jumped right in to it with a great attitude and well balanced ego!

Some news for you!
We are happy to announce that we've been asked to join Smashed Records for a new compilation CD. As we are in the final mastering stage of our forthcoming CD it's exiting news for us all, because it's only the band that's heard the final result. What’s even more exiting is that not even Smashed Records has heard the final product! That is a huge milestone for us, because we now know that we are not alone in the process. Even though many of you have heard the album in different media it's not close to the final result.

We are in a rather dull mood today. X(Melon) will NOT play at the Hornstock Festival in Denmark as it was previously announced.
Barbacka update

Soooo, it's done! We made an OK performance, not everything was perfect but..... We were not able to do a sound check before we entered the stage and that's in pure Rock'n'Roll style.. hehe... We are very happy with the result anyway. We got really good help from Janne Bark. Had the time to chat with him during the reset (and afterwards), a friendly fellow indeed. We hope to meet him somewhere in the future! The crowd was really lame, but what do we care... we got up there, did what we had planed, got very well response from the arranger and Janne Bark, that's all that counts. Ok... we are happy with our achievement today.

We're still having trouble with the newsletter thing and we have decided not to bother our brains about it anymore. So there will not be any newsletters from us in the nearest future.

We are now in the final mastering hours. So far it sounds great, very much different from what you've heard on MYSPACE & YOURSOUND.COM.
